This is a stunning 1990s Chanel dress by Karl Lagerfeld that no longer has its label but still has its beautiful gold metal Chanel logo embossed buttons.  This is from a client whose wardrobe is full of Chanel and Gucci pieces and she remembers this one being from the early to mid 1990s. The shape is classic Chanel for this time and still feels remarkably fresh now.

This is an absolutely lovely dress. It is made from a beautiful weight black silk that is of quality that you only seem to find vintage pieces these days. It is so well-made that we think you could wear it either way around so that the V is in the front or the back. It is meant for the V to be at the front but you could easily wear it the other way around and we took a photo for you to see it that way as well. It plunges at the plunge and it is sleeveless. The bodice is cut to blouse out over you and over the waist. The waist is seamed for a shape with a small band of the same fabric. The skirt falls to about the ankle length depending on your height. It skims out over the hips and gradually widens out as it nears the hem. I love how there is a seam just under the hips and from there to the hem the skirt falls in a series of wide pleats. This particular pleat is a Chanel signature and it is often use on their skirts. Down the front of the dress starting from the waist is a series of gold Chanel buttons with a padded feel like one of their quilted bags and the Chanel logo at the top of each one. It is the only embellishment on the dress and I love the simplicity that this gives it while still letting people know that you are wearing a Chanel. The dress can be worn with the waist more fitted or it works equally as well on a smaller frame with the waist loose and dropped a little lower. You can easily wear this on its own or wear it layered under or over other items from your wardrobe to give it a completely different feel. This is a beautiful example of Chanel from this time period. If it had a label it would be significantly more so its also a steal. Excellent condition.

Fully lined in the same silk as the exterior through the upper bodice and silk chiffon through the rest of the dress. It closes at the front with hidden set snaps above the waist, hooks at the waist, and then the buttons down the front. I see a little bit of snagging to the silk near the hooks, and I think they were removed at some point. You could easily move them back and you would no longer see this. Please see the final photo. Unlabeled but has the proper Chanel buttons.

delightful read
Format: Kindle
What a delightful read. The characters are awesome, the plot was so good, I loved it. I was intrigued and it kept me wanting more. Told in multiple pov, the book sucks you in and doesn’t let go. I cannot wait to read the next book.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
